1. Equipment Use & Responsibility
By renting equipment from Sunside Rentals, you agree to use all items in a safe and responsible manner. You acknowledge that:
• You are responsible for inspecting the equipment upon delivery and must notify us within 24 hours of any damage or malfunction.
• You will not use the equipment in any way that could cause injury to yourself, others, or property.
• You will ensure that all users of the equipment are familiar with proper and safe usage.
• You agree to supervise minors using the equipment at all times.
• You are responsible for returning the equipment in the same condition in which it was delivered, aside from normal wear and tear.
• You will not tamper with or alter the equipment in any way.
• In the event of damage or malfunction, Sunside Rentals will make a reasonable effort to provide a replacement or comparable item (subject to availability and delivery capacity).
2. Damage, Loss & Cleaning Fees
You are financially responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment during your rental period, beyond normal wear and tear. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge the following:
• Damage or Loss: You may be charged for repair or replacement at full retail value.
• Unreturned Items: Late returns or unavailability at pickup may result in additional charges.
• Cleaning Fees: Excessively dirty equipment may incur up to $50 per item in cleaning fees.
• Assessment Process: We will assess damage/loss and notify you within 48 hours.
• Payment for Damages: Charges will be billed to the original card unless other arrangements are made.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancel at least 48 hours before your rental for a full refund.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.
• We may cancel due to weather or availability; in such cases, you'll receive a full refund or option to reschedule.
• We’re not responsible for inaccessible deliveries due to third-party issues (e.g., property management).
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
4. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By renting equipment from Sunside Rentals, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Using rental equipment involves risks including injury, property damage, or death.
• You assume all risks voluntarily.
• Sunside Rentals is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by use/misuse.
• You agree to release Sunside Rentals from any claims related to use of the equipment.
• You are responsible for any injury/damage to yourself, others, or property.
• You certify all users are physically able and trained to use the rented items safely.
5. Payment & Security Deposit
• Full payment is required at booking.
• Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
• Some rentals may require a security deposit, disclosed during booking.
• Charges for lost/damaged/dirty items may be applied to your card or deposit.
• By paying, you authorize any applicable fees to be charged.
6. Delivery & Pickup
• Delivery/pickup is available in our service area.
• Office pickup/return available by appointment.
• Times are pre-coordinated but may change due to logistics.
• Guests need not be present; items will be left in an accessible area.
• Ensure property access with your management company if applicable.
• Return items to the same spot for pickup. Missed pickups may incur fees.
• Additional fees may apply for extended service areas or special requests.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement is binding upon payment and applies to all individuals in your party using the rented equipment.
You are responsible for ensuring that all users of the equipment are aware of and comply with these Terms.
